My first visit to Venice was amazing - the city lived up to its reputations with scenes to shoot at almost every turn of foot or propeller. I did leave with a favourite location / viewpoint from this trip - in part because it is simply classic Venice and also because it was so close to where I was staying so saw it a lot at different times of day - the view East from Academia Bridge. The shot above is at dusk as the lights along the grand canal were coming on but there was still blue hour light in the sky.
