This is another shot from the New Forest. I visited several time sin the Autumn of 2020, shooting another of the scenes in the gallery but also walking a fairly small area quite intensively whilst there. Whether it was dawn, midday or dusk there was always something to photograph and some light to utlise. This was a shot that came to life in post production with the oak in a lighter area, making it almost glow with the additional light. An image accentuated by the narrower range of light acknowledged by the camera compared to our incredible eyes - which can process ranges and contrasts impossible in photography.
