And what a stag it was. With a harem of hinds to match. One of my abiding childhood memories is driving through Richmond Park to visit my grandparents and always looking out for the deer. Well the park still has a lot of deer and probably more people than ever. This was taken in the afternoon when there were two large herds close to each other. Each leading stag had many hinds – around 40 – but trying to get a clear shot was tricky. Many other deer. Many people. Added to that was the need to maintain an even, complementary backdrop that did not clash with the beast and ideally exclude the sky. Limited to 45 prints.
Prints are made on traditional, silver-halide photographic paper with a lustre finish and a border around the image of approx 1”. I can make prints on gloss paper (same price) or giclee cotton-rag papers (surcharge of approx 25% applies) Please ask me if you would prefer this. The aluminium panels I offer are a contemporary equivalent of cibachrome prints - with amazing depth and richness of colour. I also offer acrylic faced prints mounted on composite dibond panels. If the size you want is not listed please get in touch; I can produce images up to 60” wide. Prints need to be made to order so are likely to take up to 14 days, framed images up to 21 days.
