This is in one of my favourite areas on the edge of the New Forest. I visit multiple times each year, partly because I tend to drive into the forest past this area. Sometimes when I know I want to shoot somewhere else I deliberately take an alternative route so I am not tempted to stop. My favourite element is the toning greens of the bark, leaves and bracken. This will feature in ‘Trees’ portfolio box set volume II but is available now as larger prints in an edition of 25.
