This is another one of those locations where I seem to repeat myself in saying ‘this is a scene I returned to several times’. It is a wonderful corner of Cornwall, a short walk from from the road yet, once off the cliffs and into the littoral zone, a whole world away. Crashing waves, seabirds, tide changing rapidly, light ever changing…OK it’s not always so great, and I’ve been in dull, drab, calm, nothingness. But this afternoon delivered with fading light and a cooperative crashing tide. I have shot this scene in many shutter speeds and on this afternoon a longer exposure favoured the scene, softening the darkness of the rocks with semi-exposed water. Limited to 35 copies.
Prints are made on traditional, silver-halide photographic paper with a lustre finish and a border around the image of approx 1”. I can make prints on gloss paper (same price) or giclee cotton-rag papers (surcharge of approx 25% applies) Please ask me if you would prefer this. The aluminium panels I offer are a contemporary equivalent of cibachrome prints - with amazing depth and richness of colour. I also offer acrylic faced prints mounted on composite dibond panels. If the size you want is not listed please get in touch; I can produce images up to 60” wide. Prints need to be made to order so are likely to take up to 14 days, framed images up to 21 days.
